Sugaring is an ancient Egyptian method of hair removal that people have used since the 1900’s.
The sugaring paste is composed of simple ingredients like water, lemon, and sugar.
Administered at a moderate temperature, the sugar paste we use is biodegradable as well as water soluble.
We use an organic sugar paste that is hypoallergenic. It is gentler on the skin then traditional waxing. It is never hot, so you can expect to leave your appointment with far less irritation than you would with waxing.
Sugar paste can also attach to your shorter hair lengths. So, we can offer quick touch ups as soon as 2-3 weeks from your last appointment. The sugar will grab hair 1/8 of an inch in length or more.
Sugaring also helps exfoliate the skin. The service naturally removes dead skin cells which can build up over time.
Since hair grows back softer and less dense after sugaring, it can be harder for the fine hairs to sprout out. Make sure to exfoliate with a good scrub between appointments. Please wait at least 2-3 days after your appointment to exfoliate or use a sauna/pool.
